The MomCo
*Formerly MOPS*
"MomCo (Mom Community) is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.”
Our theme for the 2025-2026 is
Make It Awkward
"When [Jesus] had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So, they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink." LUKE 5:4-7, NIV

What is MomCo?
The MomCo (short for Mom Community)
— where we mobilize moms all over the world to build life-changing community.
We’re convinced that moms are some of the most powerful creatures on the planet. What is the word people use to define powerful things? It is ‘the mother’… the mother of all storms, the mother of all traffic, the mother lode. To be a mother is to be a force of nature, but that doesn’t mean it should be done alone. We saved you a seat.
Each meeting will include prayer and dinner followed by either discussion, a speaker, craft, game, or video to reflect the weekly theme.
When do we meet?
Helena’s MomCo group meets the first and third Thursday of the month at Hannaford Street Bible Church during the school year, September through May from 6:00pm - 8:00 p.m.
MomCo meetings include speakers, creative activities, and discussion time.
Childcare will not be provided for MomCo this year. However nursing and non-mobile babies are welcome.
